Recently finished this custom quilting for Morna, her piecing was so precise it was a pleasure to work on it. Due to my injury it took ages and Morna was so very patient I was so appreciative and grateful she didn't have a deadline. oh and say hello to Bunnie my mum who is doing the talking.... #

Quilting is the #1 passion of course but I love gardening especially growing edibles. First cauliflower almost ready to harvest...woohoo! I think i should harvest 25 in total of all different colours so that will be fun. No Broccoli but 8 cabbages growing well.

Week 9 of healing knee injury and. Those medicos know their stuff...lol.. said 10 weeks and sure enough feeling so much better. Reduced the need for pain relief from 3 to 2 times a day. AND best of all quilted 2 tops and got a heap of work done on a custom quilt.! So all in all a great day.

Well after 6 weeks of not being able to stand for long or even walk really, today I woke and almost am pain free, still a few weeks to go before the ligaments are "healed" but its feeling great and I think I can get some more time in the studio this coming week. I have a new knee brace that feels better too so quilting here I come!

Just a quick update, I actually managed to walk unaided this morning!!!!! Woohoo!!! So, all being well, I should be able to get into the Studio (with a walking stick and lots of sitting down)next week. It's been a difficult week as those who know me know that sitting around doing nothing is just not in my DNA. Thank you for all the kind messages and texts, it's been greatly appreciated.

Oh dear, hurt my knee so things are going to be a little slow here for a few days, well fingers crossed it's only days of resting. Some finished tops before accident...
