A couple of flicks from our recent expedition to the Glasshouse Mountains.

Late last week, we participated in a collaboration between Blackboard Coffee Roasters and Glasshouse Mountains Coffee Project.

This year's focus was to reconnect with coffee at its origin and to share knowledge on post-harvest processing.

It was an incredible experience, with plenty of hands-on learning, great conversation and a few reminders of just how much goes into every cup of coffee we enjoy.

A milestone worth celebrating, a coffee worth sharing, and a cause worth getting behind.

We are incredibly excited to announce a very special, limited-release coffee blend created in collaboration with Jamayne Isaako.

As many of you know, earlier this month Jamayne became the fastest player in rugby league history to reach 1,000 club points for a single team, achieving the milestone in just 93 games. We've crafted a blend that combines washed coffees from Papua New Guinea, Colombia and Ethiopia, as well as a natural process coffee from Costa Rica to celebrate this remarkable occasion, and have aptly named it "1000".

But, there's an even bigger reason to get around this one, and it's something that’s very close to our hearts. 100% of the proceeds from this release will be donated to FightMND to improve care for people living with motor neurone disease, fund research into more effective treatments, and eventually, find a cure.

There are 50 bags on offer, each of which are numbered and personally signed by Jamayne. They will be available for purchase in store and on our website under 'Our Signature Blends' from 7:00 am tomorrow (Thursday 27 August), but note, once it's gone, it's gone.

So, whether you're a coffee connoisseur, a fan of the man, browsing for a unique gift [with Father's Day around the corner], or looking to get behind a great cause, this one's for you.
