Had some nice acoustics in this week for setups

Schecter Reaper MS-7 that I fitted some Fishman Fluence Tobin Abasi pickups to a few weeks ago.
Pickup cavities needed to be routed as the original pickups were parallelogram in shape whereas the Fishman’s were rectangular.
Wired up with a dual wafer super switch and a push / pull pot to give all the Fluence voice options.

Great looking Sherwood Green Metallic Telecaster in for a setup with a set of Gotoh Compensated saddles to help with the intonation.
If you are having intonation issues with your 3 saddle Tele’s then the Gotoh saddles are a worthwhile upgrade.

Last jobs for the year.
Fender Telecaster for a pickup swap and 4 way selector switch mod and a Gretsch for a pickup swap, bone nut and a setup.

One of the cool projects I got to work with on this year was helping Gabor put this guitar together, love the colour coded neck pickup from MrGlyn’s Pickups in NZ.

Just finished refurbishing these two guitars, it’s always good to see the end result and the owner’s reaction after you’ve completed the work. The Stratocaster in particular was looking very sad and tired when it first arrived.
