Balloons Plus & Event Hire Coffs Harbour

06/09/2026

It's been a massive few days and I have another big week coming up so will be resting up as much as I can to survive it.

Here's a snippet of what I've been up to since Friday.

Friday morning (Line Dance Association Australia event at Coffs Harbour Showgrounds). I loaded and then unloaded and set up 9 pieces of staging with black skirting and steps plus installed my 6m wide white ice silk backdrop that I attached their custom banner to.

Friday afternoon - Coffs Harbour Golf Club 100th birthday celebrations. Marquee number lights with a large half arch of balloons in the clubs colours. Photos do not do this justice as my phone battery was almost flat and camera was glitching 🥲

Saturday morning (Kodyn's Bear Themed 1st Birthday party - Woolgoolga)
2m Mesh circle backdrop stand with a 2.5m Organic style balloon garland and large foil teddy
Custom boxes filled with balloons
Custom 50cm Bearly One sign
Light up Number 1
Giant Teddy Bear

Saturday afternoon (Breakers AFNC Presentation night - Coffs Golf Club)
10 helium table centres plus 2 floor standing bouquets

Today (Sawtell Saints Juniors AFL Presentation - Sawtell RSL Club)
6m wide backdrop - Black Velvet drapes, White Ice Silk panels and Red satin curtains
10 helium table centres plus the large silver foil helium letters

Busiest time of the year and I am certainly feeling it!! LIFE IS INSANELY CRAZY🫣😅

I have a huge weekend coming up and so much to do in preparation for it. I spent the past couple of days getting everything ready for Bishop Druitt Colleges Fathers Day Breakfast which was on this morning from 7am-8:30am. I had to put together 20 bar tables (I had them all made up as cafe tables for a recent job so had to screw an extra pole in to all 20 tables in order to make them back into bar tables again (such a time consuming task!). I also had to get all the covers and sashes ready then inflate all the balloons for the arch which I installed onsite at 6am this morning.

Tomorrow I have to set up a big stage and 6m wide backdrop for a Line Dancing Event. I have 45 chairs and 5 tables being picked up by a client for her bday party on Saturday, I also have chairs and tables to deliver to another client for a party they're holding Saturday night and then I have a big balloon install and large light up number display to do for 100th Birthday celebrations at a local venue.

Saturday I have a backdrop and balloon set up to do up at Woolgoolga for a 1st Birthday Party and then a heap of balloons for a local AFL clubs presentation night and then Sunday I have another footy clubs presentation day that I am setting up a big backdrop and a heap of balloons for.

For those who are waiting on a reply to messages I promise I will get back to you ASAP! Thanks for your patience and understanding while I push through this extremely busy period 😬

When I say work-life has been insanely busy and has me run off my feet this is what I mean.

On Friday I loaded 150 fold out Malibu Chairs, 20 1.8m long trestle tables and 15 of the big 2.4m trestle tables into my van and trailer and then with the help of my son we travelled to Wiigulga and then unloaded and carried it all into the stadium for a massive event held there yesterday.

Afterwards I delivered 5 bar tables with covers and then installed 40 metres worth of Festoon lights at a house on Harbour drive for a special event they were holding for their support work business Heart and Joy. Friday night I made up a helium bouquet and delivered it at 9:30pm for a little boy to wake to on Saturday morning as a big 3 year old.

Yesterday I had the task of setting up for a Sesame street themed 1st Birthday Party at The Playhouse. So many little bits and pieces to help the clients set up and it was quite a time consuming task but we made it happen (all hands on deck to hang banners, put cupcakes and cookies on the stands, set all the cutouts up etc)

I raced home from there to load the trailer on and grab my son and then at 5:30pm we arrived at Wiigulga where we spent the next 1.5 hours loading all the chairs and tables into the van a trailer.

I arrived home last night absolutely wrecked!!
I am spending today doing admin work before I have to unload, clean and put everything away in my shipping containers this arvo.
