This Mumma Bear is very much enjoying putting her feet up tonight! 500 stems prepared, conditioned and sent off to their new loving homes - and I honestly can’t thank our little Cohuna community enough for getting behind this fundraiser.

Together, we’ve raised $105 for Cancer Council 👏

A few extra bunches were delivered with my order, so there are a limited number still available if you missed out and would like to grab one tomorrow!

Vietnam Veterans’ Day | 18 August 🇦🇺

Today we pause to remember and honour the service and sacrifice of all Australians who served in Vietnam, and the families who stood beside them.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who chose Meadow Lane Flowers & Gifts to create a wreath in honour and remembrance of their loved ones. It was a true privilege to be entrusted with such a meaningful tribute, and we feel honoured to have played a small part in today’s commemorations.

Grab and go fridge restocked and will keep being restocked as they go! And before you say, "Flowers just die"...think about this....

We gladly spend $50-$150+ on a nice dinner that's enjoyed in an hour or two. We buy coffee that's gone in minutes. We pay for experiences because of how they make us feel.

Flowers are no different.

They brighten a room for days, sometimes weeks. They remind someone they're loved, appreciated, celebrated, or simply thought of. Every time they walk by that arrangement, they smile and remember the person who sent them.

Flowers aren't just petals and stems-they're a gesture, a memory, and a little bit of happiness delivered to someone's door.

A rainy Sunday called for some much-needed bookwork and a tidy-up of the week that was… ☕️🌧️

But my creative side was calling, so I headed down to the shop and put together a little floral moment for the shopfront window! 🌸🌿

Wow, what a first week! 🌿

My plans to spend the week setting up and settling into the shop were thrown right out the window - instead, we've had 5 days of back-to-back orders, plus an extra market order of flowers just to keep up!

I'm going to thoroughly enjoy a little bit of me time tomorrow, and hopefully next week continues on just as strongly.
