Comfort in chaos 🌼

While I do enjoy quiet moments, yesterday my house was spotless, the kids were with their grandparents and my husband-to-be and I sat in a calm space to watch tv.

And what did I notice? That not only did I miss the noise, the toys everywhere and the laughter that sometimes turns into tears when the kids take it a little too far, I actually felt uncomfortable without the chaos of our busy house.

I have always thought that becoming an empty nester will be an exciting part of life’s timeline, but I think I might just enjoy the crazy, where kids feel like they can be themselves, do flips off the couch and pull out every toy we have, just for me to pack away later.

One day in tidy house was a little reminder that even though we are always tired and we long for a weekend away together, we are actually living some of the best years of our lives. Where mess is part of the fun, noise is feeling of love and memories are built in the walls of our home 💕

With July well underway, we’re focusing on keeping your favourite things in stock and looking for some Father’s Day gift...
