I think “bright eyed and bushy tailed” was a little overreaching — I struggled to roll out of bed this morning! 😂

Nevertheless, I’m on my way and ready for another HUGE day at the fair. 💪🏼

And that’s a wrap on Day One! 🙌

After a VERY long day of setting up, unpacking, rearranging, covering, uncovering and wondering where on earth we were going to fit everything… we’re calling it! 😂

The tables are ready, the treasures are waiting and we’re officially done for the day.

Time to put the feet up and recharge because we’ll be back tomorrow bright-eyed and bushy-tailed… well, let’s not get too carried away! 🤣

After what feels like approximately 47 boxes, several very questionable packing decisions and a whole lot of “where on earth am I going to fit THAT?” 😂 … RUSTYQUE is officially set up and ready for the Sydney Antiques & Collectables Fair!

We’ve filled the tables with a crazy mix of vintage treasures, glass, pottery, china, collectables, quirky little finds and plenty of things you probably didn’t know you needed until you see them! 😉

The car is packed, the boxes are overflowing and there is officially NO TURNING BACK NOW! 😂

Tomorrow it all begins! 🎉

So much more I could have brought, but thankfully I’m heading home tomorrow night — so if I realise I’ve left behind something important, there’s always Saturday’s top-up run! 😉

I bought this gorgeous cloisonné collection with the intention of sorting it, researching it and taking some pieces to the fair.

Unfortunately, I have a confession…

I want to keep some of it. 🤦‍♀️😂

There are some absolute beauties hiding in this lot.

So I’ll be doing some serious investigating over the next few days to work out what stays with me, what makes it to the fair and what might help me recover some of the money I just spent! 😂

The struggle is real when your business and your collecting habit collide. ❤️

Honestly, at this point I’m celebrating the small wins because the rest of my life currently looks like boxes, packing, sorting, pricing and absolute chaos! 🤣

Still a few boxes to pack, a few last-minute treasures to price… but we’re SO CLOSE you can almost taste it! 😍

This Friday, Saturday & Sunday I’ll be heading to the Sydney Antiques & Collectables Fair with a whole lot of RUSTYQUE treasures in tow. 🏺✨

There’ll be vintage, antiques, quirky collectables, beautiful oldwares and plenty of those “I’ve never seen one of these before!” pieces.

The shed is being raided… the boxes are piling up… and the excitement is definitely building! 😂
