Come for a drive to Comboyne this weekend, see the scarecrows, visit the museum markets and stop by the businesses in town to pop your votes in for your favourite scarecrow. Lots of great prizes to be won.

🌻 There’s so much happening in Comboyne and surrounds this weekend! 🌻

Why not head for the hills and make a whole weekend of it?

🌾 The inaugural Comboyne Scarecrow Festival begins on Saturday — take a drive through the village, discover all the wonderful scarecrow creations and vote for your favourite!

🚜 The Hastings Farm Gate Tour is happening across Saturday and Sunday, with local farms opening their gates and sharing the stories behind their produce.

💐 blooms & coos at Lorne will be welcoming visitors for a beautiful pick-your-own flower experience. Bookings are essential, so be sure to reserve your spot before heading out.

🎉 Byabarra Hall is celebrating an incredible 100 years with a Family Day on Saturday from 1pm–5pm, featuring exhibitions, family fun, afternoon tea and an opening ceremony.

🧺 The Comboyne Market is on Sunday from 8am–1pm at the Comboyne Historical and Cultural Museum with local stalls, food and plenty to browse.

And, of course, Comboyne Farm Store will be open too! Call in, have a wander and say hello while you’re exploring our beautiful part of the world.

There really couldn’t be a better weekend to visit Comboyne and surrounds. Come for a drive, support our local farms, businesses and community groups, and enjoy a wonderful country weekend!

He’s not normally one to sit still and relax but that’s exactly what he did on Father’s Day (for a little while at least).

Alastair relaxed in his rocking chair and carved his very own wooden spoon from one of our Brotherhood of the Spoon carving kits.

He said it was a good way to take his mind off other matters for a little while, like a short escape.
