One month.

It’s strange how quickly that’s come around.

When I announced that Little Ones would be closing, I honestly didn’t know how I’d feel a few weeks later. These are just a few of the reflections that have stuck with me.

If there’s one thing I’m taking away from this experience, it’s that this community is something really special. Thank you for every message, every visit, every recommendation, every purchase, and every kind word. You’ve made this chapter one I’ll always look back on with gratitude. ❤️

We’ve still got one month to go, and I’m looking forward to making the most of every day until then. 💚

Even as we count down our final weeks, the Little Ones community continues to amaze me. 💛

468 pre-loved treasures found new homes this week, and together we’ve kept 141kg of clothing out of landfill.

Every purchase is giving these little clothes another adventure, and I’m so grateful you’ve chosen to be part of that story. 🐢♻️

Turns out telling people you’re closing is excellent for business 😂

We had our biggest week ever, with 735 items sold! Thank you for the incredible support (and perhaps a tiny bit of panic buying 😉).

We’re restocking every day, so there’s still lots to discover before we close at the end of August (especially in sizes 0000-0). Every item that finds a new home is another item kept in circulation—and this week alone that was 221kg of clothing.

Yesterday was a hard post to share. 💔

Thank you so much for all the kind messages, comments and support. Reading them has meant more than I can say.

I’ve put together this post to answer some of the questions we’ve been receiving about what happens next.

The short version:
• We’re open as usual until Saturday 29 August.
• Fresh stock will keep going out right until the end.
• Store credit can continue to be used until our final day.
• Exchanges and donations are now closed.

We’d love to see as many of you as we can over the coming weeks. Whether you’re popping in to spend store credit, hunting for a few more treasures, or just stopping by to say hello, we’d love to see you. 💚

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to share.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to close Little Ones Coolum. Our final day of trade will be Saturday 29 August.

This wasn’t an easy decision. It’s come from a combination of factors, but I’ve realised I can no longer give the shop the time and energy it deserves.

To every family who’s shopped, exchanged, donated, chatted, recommended us to a friend, or simply walked through our door… thank you. Together, we’ve kept thousands of beautiful little clothes in circulation and built something that meant so much to me.

It’s business as usual over the next couple of months, and there’s still plenty of beautiful stock in store. I would encourage you to come in and use your store credit before we close 💚

I’ll share another post tomorrow with all the practical details and answers to the most common questions.

I’m also open to conversations with anyone who might be interested in taking on the business or the lease, if the right opportunity came along.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this little community. It has been such a privilege. 💚
