🍎 Fruit: Apples, custard apples, grapefruit, lemons, limes, oranges, pawpaw, pineapple, pomelo, rhubarb & tangelo.

Knowing where our tea comes from matters to us — and so does knowing the people and practices behind it. 🌱

Our growers in India recently shared a deeper look into their organic tea gardens, the choices they’re making and why they matter. There’s a whole lot more behind your cuppa than you might think, so naturally, we wanted to share it with you too.

A tea bush can remain productive for decades, meaning decisions being made in the gardens today could still be shaping the tea we drink 50 years from now.

From selecting cultivars with natural resilience to pests and changing weather, to caring for soil health and biodiversity, organic growing is about working with nature and thinking well beyond the next harvest.

And responsible sourcing goes beyond the leaves. Through the Tea Action Project, work is also being done alongside tea farmers and workers across health, education, sanitation, wildlife conservation, climate change and sustainability.

The flavour in your cup matters — but so do the people, land and communities behind it. 💚
