This Altitude was in desperate need of some additional love after a long wet season in the mountains.

I was hoping she'd make it to the end of the season before I needed to do any major work. Alas I finally managed to kill the Scorpion and figured I'd get the rear end serviced while I was there.

- New Pirelli Scorpion rear tyre and sealant
- New Performance Brake Pads for the MT7s
- Complete strip, clean and service of the DT350 Ratchet and Hub
- Rear wheel true and tension check
- Drivetrain deep clean and Derailleur Clutch adjustment

All ready to rock for the last weekend of the season at Thredbo!

Another rad custom build in the stand. This time a 2021 Rocky Mountain Altitude!

It's being built up with,
- DVO Onyx D1 Forks
- Fox X2 Shock
- Magura MT7 Brakes
- Burgtec Cockpit
- KS LEV Dropper
- DT350 based EX511/FR560 wheelset
- Shimano XT Drivetrain

Out of the gravity trails, rock gardens and jank of Mount Gladstone and the Snowies comes a bike store who rides for the descent. We carry the best to keep you riding.

The Pilot Bike Co team had a rad day out at the Rocky Trail Entertainment Fox Superflow at Mt Gladstone in Cooma over the weekend. It was great to see everyone out and about even though the weather was pretty horrific at times.

Joe managed to nab a 3rd in the Shimano STEPS E-bike field while Tom taught the mid pack a valuable lesson in the Veterans race!

We also got to spend a bit of time in the Snowy Mountains MTB Club tent taking in the atmosphere. Make sure you hit them up if you were too wet and cold to be browsing their awesome merch on the day!

This Rocky Mountain Slayer had a heap of work done to keep it performing like new including;

- Full frame pivot service
- 50Hr fork service
- New bottom bracket and crank preload adjustment
- Headset disassembled, cleaned and regreased
- Rear derailleur clutch service and adjustment
- Brake bleed and adjustment
- Front and rear wheel true and tension

Keeping your bike running at its best helps ensure your time on the trails is spent generating grins not groans!
