CATALOGUE 413 / MAY 2026

We have just released our new Catalogue 413
for May 2026

Our offering this month has an emphasis on Australian heritage, art, voyages, exploration & literature with some of the late, lamented David Malouf’s works.

There is a two-volume bound set of Australia Illustrated in a magnificent presentation full morocco Colonial binding decorated with gilt Australian motifs and with the Australian coat-of-arms on the front board. It has over 100 full-page steel-engraved plates including 14 plates not called for in the plate list. Also 7 maps.

There are Australian & Pacific historical works and biographies, as well as Aboriginal titles and children’s books. Some bound sets including a leather-bound set of Boswell’s Life of Doctor Johnson as well as the Folio Society 8-volume set of Barbarian Invasions of the Roman Empire.

There are some other very attractive Folio Society volumes, a copy of Arabia Felix and also Lhasa and its Mysteries and quite a few signed books.
And much else.

We have only one copy of each unique and rare item being offered, so please act quickly if you wish to secure a particular volume.
