Over $8,200 was raised and will go back into the community! Carrs Seeds’ recent Animal Health Golf Day at the fabulous Pt Kenny Golf Club was a huge success. Around 40 keen golfers and guest speakers from the Animal Health & Livestock Industry attended, giving local farmers the chance to have their questions answered by some of Australia’s most respected animal health companies. GRDC is heading to the Eyre Peninsula from 17-20 August and wants to hear from you! National Grower Network forums are a chance for growers, advisers and other grain industry stakeholders to contribute ideas, issues, constraints and opportunities for research, development and extension investments to enhance profitability in the region. Tim Neale from Data Farming will also be along to tell us about tools to automate agronomy as well as researchers from the Sandy Soils II investment who will talk about where to start and stop with amelioration. Forums will be at Arno Bay, Buckleboo, Warramboo and Cummins, with visits to trial sites at the Warramboo and Cummins events. These forums are FREE with meals provided.
