Going forward, you'll find us at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market once a month, giving me more time where it matters most, on the farm, producing the quality pork you've come to know and love.

I'm also working behind the scenes on some exciting new ways to make it easier to buy 81 Acres pork, including online ordering and local delivery.

After eight wonderful years at Willunga Farmers Market, I would like to say a huge thank you to our incredibly loyal customers and the entire market community for supporting 81 Acres.

From those who visited us every fortnight to those who stopped by for the very first time, thank you for supporting our family farm and choosing local.

We have shared so many conversations, laughs and memories over the years, and I'll always be grateful for each and every one of them.

As one chapter closes, another begins. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market.

It has been a little while between market days for us… and a lot has been happening behind the scenes at 81 Acres. This season has been about resetting. Learning and rebuilding.

Since the start of the year, I have taken on 81 Acres as a sole trader, running the farm on my own. It has meant wearing all the hats (and boots) while working through a tough six months managing predators and protecting our pigs and future litters. All while staying true to what we stand for: ethically raising pigs in a true free range environment in open paddocks.

It has not been easy, and I've had help from amazing friends, family, neighbours and community. Thank you all 🙏

And through it all, I have had the best little helper by my side 💛 CJ has been keeping a very close eye on our newest piglets… making sure they are growing strong, happy and safe.

Back at Adelaide Showground Farmers Market this Sunday, 26 April – limited stock, but we are super excited to be back.
