But we can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

And honestly — HOW cute are these beautiful handmade paper caravans with tiny tealights inside? Made by her products in our store fly off the shelf.
They’re crafted from handmade recycled paper sprinkled with local flowers, giving each one its own soft, natural texture and charm. They glow so gently when switched on… no wonder they’ve been super popular.

If you missed out last time, tomorrow might be your moment.

What’s Hanging in The Curated Space
We have so many beautiful hanging pieces in the store at the moment — and they’re all incredibly popular. There’s something about a handmade piece that moves gently in the air, catches the light, or adds a little magic to a corner of your home.

Our number‑one seller continues to be the gorgeous chime houses/mushroom/fairy homes — they fly out the door as soon as they arrive.

We also have:

✨ And if you love mushrooms - check out gorgeous mushroom hangings, which you can hang from a doorknob, or really anywhere... just because you can!

Meet Ron, however, I know many of you know this wonderful man.

Ron has always been creative and has always loved working with wood. He once dreamed of becoming a boat builder, but life took him in a different direction. He worked in a brickworks and later became a bricklayer, spending many years working around the Gold Coast.

After retiring, Ron built himself a workshop and returned to the craft he loved most. Over the years he has made tables, chairs, chess tables, stools, walking sticks and memory boxes — each piece shaped slowly and with intention.

Now 86, nearly 87, Ron still aims to complete a project every day. Creating keeps him busy, fit, and fulfilled. Tallebudgera feels like the centre of his world, and he loves being able to sell his work locally… especially when he has an outing with his amazing daughter Kaye to The Curated Space.

Ron believes his pieces are unique — made to last, to be treasured, and to be passed down through generations.

We are so proud to have Ron among our 80 local artisans and authors who make The Curated Space what it is.

Each week we highlight one of our artisans on our social pages so you can get to know some of our amazing locals even more. It’s so important to us that we honour the people behind the products — their stories, their skills, and the heart they put into every handmade piece. This is what sets us apart from mass‑made.

Tonight we’re sharing a little about Ron, a long‑time local whose beautiful timber creations have become favourites in our artisan store. His work is thoughtful, practical, and made with decades of experience.

If you haven’t visited us yet, we’d love to welcome you in.
We have some wonderful new artisans, and the shop — as always — is looking beautiful… and smelling delicious too.

Yes, we are closed today…
But we have exciting news — we received more little caravans this week from Born in Paper
They come with tiny tealights that twinkle inside, creating the sweetest glow.
Our last batch only lasted a few days, so we’re thrilled to have them back on the shelves again.

They’re one of those handmade treasures that make people smile the moment they see them — whimsical, cosy, and full of charm.

We’ll be open again tomorrow, so pop in and see Sally and take a look.
