Such incredibly sad news.

Richard was not only a respected colleague in our industry, but a great mate to Daniel and a genuinely wonderful person.

There are so many great memories, particularly of adventures and plenty of laughs shared in the US, that Daniel will always treasure.

Our thoughts are with Richard’s family, friends and his entire team.

He will be very sadly missed. Rest easy, Richard. ❤️

It is with completely broken hearts that we share the devastating news that we have lost our beautiful husband, Dad and best friend, Richard Edwards. 💔

For us, Richard was everything. He was our rock, our greatest love and the person who made our family and our life what it is today.

For so many of you, Richard was also the heart and soul behind our businesses. He poured so much of himself into them. His vision, his incredible work ethic, his passion and his determination were woven into everything he did.

Our businesses were never simply businesses to Richard. They were something he created with enormous pride, alongside our family and an incredible team of people who have become such an important part of our lives.

Losing him has left an enormous hole in our lives that can never be filled. We are devastated, but we are determined to keep his legacy alive.

So together, with our three beautiful children and the love and support of our amazing staff, we will continue what Richard started.

To everyone who has supported Richard and our businesses over the years, we want to thank you. Every staff member, every customer, every friend and every person who has been part of this journey has meant so much to him, and to all of us.

Richard will forever be at the heart of everything we do. We will work hard, look after our people and our customers, and carry forward the values and vision that he spent so many years building.

A great afternoon at Stihl Shop Dandenong 🇦🇺🇹🇼

This week we had the pleasure of hosting a group of STIHL dealers from Taiwan at our store.

It was fantastic to show them around, share how we operate our dealership here in Melbourne, and talk about the similarities and differences in running a STIHL business in Australia and Taiwan.

One of the best parts of being part of the STIHL network is getting the opportunity to meet other dealers from around the world. Different markets, different experiences, but plenty of the same challenges — and lots of ideas to share!
