A rerun because tis the season for you to learn how to actually design with gladiolus. They can be SO beautiful and work for so many designs if you’re prepping them right.

Put together a little posy for a friend, create a simple but stunning bridal bouquet, or bundle together on the dining table.

Gladiolus are long lasting and you’ll need to buy in advance with the right timing to get them to open nicely. Don’t worry so much about those bottom blooms. The top ones are where the whimsy is at.

Deep chats, belly laughs, yum food, a good drink, connection.

My lifelong love of crafting and bringing people together for a fun time has lead me to so many amazing things, but really it’s all about the connection with others and the never ending role of actually being a friend to have friends.

Our last Aperitivo Club hosted in my flowers studio… we’re long overdue and I’m excited for our next gathering… involving spring crafting this time.

Ps, I’ve always loved Steve Irwin’s attitude and vibes. What a dude.

I swore I would never, but I’m sure I’ve not the only parent who’s been saved by this song oh so many times?

Even knows it and he’s not a dad yet! 😂

Don’t rush the foundation. It feels basic, but often overlooked… Making sure you’re using the right amount of chicken wire, taking the time to place it correctly, and separating the layers when pushing it into your bowl is an essential for (almost) frustration free floral arranging.

Too little and you won’t have enough of a structure to support the stems, they’ll move around and fall out. Too much and you’ll have to force stems in, and you’ll take away the movement and airiness of the design with “stiff” stems.
