🎂 HAPPY 96TH BIRTHDAY, DON! 🎂
Today we want to give a special birthday shoutout to one of our longest-standing and most loyal customers, Don Good, who is celebrating an incredible 96 years!
For as long as I can remember, Don has been a regular face walking through the doors at UMC. I started here 22 years ago, when Don was a young 74 😜 — and he’d already been a customer for many years before that.
Even at 96, not much has changed. Don still regularly calls in for a few odds and ends to keep an old chainsaw or engine going, or to see what old saws we’ve got lying around that he can take home and “tinker” with.
As Don puts it, “It keeps me off the streets.” 😂
Although apparently his wife isn’t quite as impressed when he’s still out in the shed and hasn’t made it inside for dinner by 6pm! 😍
You’re an absolute legend, Don. It’s always a pleasure seeing you walk through the door and hearing about what you’ve been up to and what the next shed project is.
Here’s to plenty more years of tinkering. 🪚🔧
