Hire for Baby

MEET MARIA 👋

Maria joined Hire for Baby in April 2026, turning a long-held dream of running her own business into reality.

Her weeks are full of customer enquiries, bookings, deliveries, collections and car seat installations. She also cleans and prepares equipment, manages stock and shares what she’s doing on social media. It’s busy, but Maria loves that no two days are the same.

What makes her proudest is how much she’s learned and the trust she’s built with her customers. She’s building something of her own, while helping local families along the way.

And when she’s away from work? It’s all about family. 💛

Would you be able to spot your child’s swimwear underwater?

Colours that look bright on land can be much harder to see in a pool or the ocean. When choosing swimwear, look for bright colours that contrast with the water, and always keep a close watch on children around water.

SAVE THIS AND SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY before their next swim.

It’s funny how quickly the stages change. One minute you’re fitting two little ones into the car, and the next they’re asking for the keys.

For the stages in between, Hire for Baby can help with the car seats, prams and other gear you need along the way.

What age are your little ones right now?

This is why we do what we do. 💛

Making things a little easier when families need it most.

Thank you, Chevonne, for the lovely feedback about Rachel from Hire for Baby

It’s completely normal for a newborn to nod off in the car. But once the journey is over, their capsule shouldn’t become their regular sleep space.

Car seats and capsules are designed for safe travel. If your baby falls asleep on the way, check them regularly and move them to a safe sleep environment as soon as practical after you arrive.

A simple reminder for those early newborn days when sleep can happen anywhere.

Heading interstate or staying with family with a little one in tow?

Instead of packing the cot, high chair, pram and everything in between, organise the baby equipment you need at your destination.

Your local Hire for Baby team can help make family visits easier, with quality baby equipment available to hire for the length of your stay.

More room in the car. Less to unpack. More time with the people you came to see!

THERE WILL BE SIGNS!

Between daycare drop-offs, playground visits and everyday errands, prams pick up more than a bit of dust.

A professional clean can lift out the mud, crumbs and marks from months of daily use, keeping it comfortable and hygienic for your little passenger.

You can book in with your local Hire for Baby team.- Booking link in our bio.

Baby's first holiday comes with plenty of firsts, including figuring out how on earth you're going to take half the house with you.

One way to make it easier is to have the familiar essentials waiting at your destination.

A cot for sleep time.
A highchair for meals.
A pram for getting out and exploring.

Whether you're staying in a holiday rental, hotel or with family, your local Hire for Baby team can help you organise what you need before you arrive.

Less time figuring things out when you get there and more time enjoying that first family getaway!

Not every home has a spare room, garage or shed to store a bassinet, high chair and pram for years to come.

Hiring your newborn equipment means you get what you need for now, without it taking over your space once your baby has outgrown it.

Your local Hire for Baby team can help you find gear that suits your home.

Cold morning? Keep the puffer handy, but take it off before buckling your child into their restraint.

Bulky jackets and thick winter clothing can create extra space between your child and the harness, which means the harness may not sit as securely as intended.

A better option is to buckle your child in wearing thinner layers, then place their jacket or a blanket over them once the harness is secure.

A simple winter habit that helps keep little ones safer on the road.

Please do think about Emily’s yoga class, I’ve been training with Emily regularly and love her classes, babies not necessary 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️

Mums & Bubs Yoga **Palmerston**
**STARTING TOMORROW 1 JUNE**
9:00am Tuesdays, Sanctuary Lakes, Gunn
$10

Bring: your own mat and water bottle, a mat or blanket for bubba, some toys or distractions to keep them interested.

**FLASHBACK** to last year's classes in the park! See any familiar faces? We are going to trial this class again for June to see who is interested!

Everyone is welcome, even if you don't have a baby that's ok! Our class is really relaxed, so don't worry if bubba didn't get the memo that you're going to yoga, you can always join in late!

During the class I know that you might need to do mum duty and clean up accidents or do a feed, and that's all completely fine and welcome. Noisy bubbas are also totally welcome, that's part of the fun of being in the park, it's an open space, and there's no noise your bubba can make that I and the other mums won't have heard before!

See you on the mat soon!
Em
