# Nursery Sales Team Member
We a large Wholesale Nursery located 50km out of Darwin (50min) drive located at lambells Lagoon.
We are seeking a friendly, organised and reliable person to join our wholesale nursery sales team.
This is a varied and practical sales support role. It is not a traditional office administration position—you will work with customers, nursery staff and management, while also moving around the nursery to check stock availability.
# # Key responsibilities
* Answering telephone calls and taking accurate messages
* Receiving and processing customer orders
* Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
* Preparing quotes and computer invoices
* Discussing freight and shipping arrangements with customers
* Advising customers about pallet packing and the quantities that can fit on each pallet
* Checking stock availability on the nursery grounds and with the manager
* Printing plant and order labels
* Using the Passfield nursery sales system
* Following orders through from the initial enquiry to dispatch
* Helping with general sales duties as required

The successful applicant will have:
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Competent computer skills
* A friendly and professional telephone manner
* Good attention to detail
* The ability to manage several tasks during busy periods
* Confidence communicating with customers, freight companies and nursery staff
* A willingness to walk through the nursery to check stock
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous sales, nursery or horticultural experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Plant knowledge would also be helpful; however, training will be provided in our products, sales procedures and Passfield system.
