Last week's mystery item generated plenty of discussion 👀

While quite a few of you were convinced we'd uncovered a ghost detector 👻, the mystery item was eventually identified as an RF detector, a device used to detect radio frequency signals and locate transmitting devices, hidden cameras and other electronic bugs.

We're still not ruling out ghosts entirely... but we'll trust the experts on this one 😄

Reviva Reuse Shop is looking for a Casual Depot Hand to join our team!

If you have a creative eye for merchandising, enjoy helping customers, love sustainability, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role you'll help:
♻️ Create welcoming displays and organise stock
♻️ Assist customers with friendly service
♻️ Sort, price and present quality donated items
♻️ Keep the shop looking its best
♻️ Give pre-loved items a second chance

What we're looking for:
✅ Manual driver's licence (essential)
✅ A positive attitude and strong work ethic
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Physically fit and happy to be hands-on
✅ Experience in merchandising or retail presentation is highly regarded

Once trained and confident in the role, shifts on offer include:
• 2 weekday shifts per week
• 1 weekend every fortnight

Join a team that's helping divert waste from landfill while creating local jobs and training opportunities through .

🔎 Reviva Reuse Shop Mystery Item of the Week

Last week's mystery item sparked a bit of debate 👀

Many of you guessed it was a vintage bed warmer, used with hot coals and slipped between the sheets on a cold night.

However, several of our followers had a different theory, suggesting it was actually a vintage silent butler (or crumb catcher) that was missing its brush.

After doing a little more research, we're inclined to agree! The shorter handle suggests it was most likely a silent butler from the 1950s, used to sweep up crumbs and ash from tables and fireplaces.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge and joined the discussion. We love seeing these mysteries solved together! 👏
