A little glimpse of some of the gorgeous stalls from our latest market day in Delft.
And then there’s the reality of travelling with a group of enthusiastic brocante shoppers… 😂
Janeene managed to sneak a photo of all of them waiting for our minibuses after the market — and this was AFTER everyone had already been to the post office! 📦🤣
I’m beginning to think a larger cargo van might be in order for the next tour!
And finally, our wonderful cargo bus driver Harry enjoying a very well-deserved beer after getting everyones treasures — safely through another day. 🍺❤️
This is exactly what our Brocante Tours are all about… beautiful finds, lots of laughs and plenty of memories along the way. We are ready for another big day tomorrow! 🥱

Escape to the Château & Garden Day Tour
3–18 September 2027

I’m so excited to finally open bookings for this very special French adventure! 🇫🇷🥂

We’ll begin in Lille for the incredible Grande Braderie de Lille – Europe’s largest flea market, with kilometres of brocante, antiques, vintage treasures and wonderful French atmosphere.
From there, we’ll make our way through beautiful northern France, discovering charming harbour towns, medieval villages, brocantes, magnificent châteaux and some of my favourite hidden gems along the way.

🌿 And of course, one of the absolute highlights…
A Garden Day at Dick & Angel Strawbridge’s Château de la Motte Husson – an unforgettable opportunity to spend the day at the château and explore those famous gardens.
Our journey will take us through Lille, Honfleur, Bayeux, Dinan, the Loire Valley and Paris, with time for brocante hunting, beautiful villages, history, fabulous food and plenty of those little discoveries that make travelling through France so special.

🥂 We’ll finish in Paris with a beautiful Seine dinner cruise.
