This weekend! Only 20min from Daylesford

The Harcourt Fire has kept all CFA crews in the Mount Alexander area busy and we want to help out where we can. The Collectables Fair will be going ahead and raising much needed funds for the Campbells Creek Brigade who have been busy working on the fire ground this past week. This money will go directly to them to help purchase new equipment.
Please note:
*The fires have no direct impact on Campbells Creek or Castlemaine.
*The Calder Freeway is open
*Please do not travel to the fire ground (Harcourt) to see the devastation, the emergency services are working hard to restore services to those in need and we do not need to be in the way of that.
*Keep updated via the VIC emergency app.
*Depending on the wind there may be some smoke drifting over Castlemaine as the crews continue to black out.
*You may see an increase in emergency services on the road travelling to and from the fire ground.
*We are raising money, not accepting any donations of actual goods.
*You are encouraged to shop locally to support small businesses in the area after what may have been a slower week than normal.

Our thoughts are with everybody who has been impacted by the fires, particularly those who have lost their homes and businesses, the CFA volunteers, emergency services and their families who support them.

As part of our ongoing mission to run sustainable events and reduce waste we donate the hay seating to the Five Freedoms Animal Rescue! ❤️ They are a local animal rescue who work tirelessly to rescue injured or trapped wildlife.
Arthur Daly (Kangaroo pictured) is now enjoying the hay you possibly sat and enjoyed lunch on!
