The Dark Moon; time to release and banish the blah; energies that vibrate lower and slower than the higher more positive ones. The dross we collect from our mundane world.
Release out of you by shaking, bellowing & running your hands from your Earth Star upwards through each power centre to your Soul Star above your head. Fling the invisible net of spent energies towards the dark sky. Call to Hekate or Kali Ma to consume them. Let them go.
Enjoy the sleep of the cleansed.

The Super New Moon in the watery Cancer, calls us to slow down, take stock and start a new regime of nurturing self and good health. Rest, roost and enjoy home, friends and family. Home is where the heart is.

If you feel a little emotional; give in, keep warm; bury yourself in a good book.

Connect with your deity and work with their energy. Breathe deeply warming and energising the four chambers of your heart: self love, self compassion, love to others, compassion to all.

The Crab reminds us to appreciate the great beauty surrounding us and available to our spiritual self. By giving in to this splendour we allow the moon energy to weave its magickal integration into our thoughts and deeds and naturally become part of our lives.

State your intentions for new beginnings and fresh ideas.

Spellcast for deepest desires and dreams and harmony in the home.

Pampering ritual: Draw a warm bath, light a white candle anointed with rose oil, burn incense or oils of Jasmine and Lavender.

Place a Moonstone, Labradorite, Clear or Rose Quartz in the bath. Lie back and luxuriate. Feel the warmth and support from the waters.
When ready drain the bath sloughing off any remnants of old patterns. Carry the cleansed stone with you for 14 nights to give support and conviction.

Bolines (boh-leens) or crescent knives (sickle) are used in some witchcraft traditions as a practical tool in magick. Used for cutting cords, harvesting herbs and carving candles, there’s many a practitioner who would covet this particularly potent handforged tool.
