BUSINESS OPERATIONS UPDATE (16/8/21 to 28/8/21):

1. Please continue to use our online booking system to organise repairs/serviced.

2. Free contactless pick up and delivery in the Northern Beaches Council area during this period. Online payment must be made prior to organising delivery.

Stay safe and fingers crossed we are back to rehearsals and performances soon.

Repaired this Francois Louis Alto Sax Ligature. The customer had lost a part so I had to make the missing piece.

I was without a Lathe today so had to make it another way.

Turned out pretty good!

Find It friday!
This Yamaha Bari Sax came in having had a "Stuffy sound and a wierd buzz for the last 6 months". After passing the usual 'shake and rattle test', I found this guy wedged high up the instrument. It's the biggest one I've seen for a while!

Have you ever wondered why your French Horn rotor gets stuck?
When they haven't been touched in a while, the oils and other biological matter have a chance to dry causing it to lock up.

Solution: use oil regularly and don't stop practising! 🙃

Mmmm time for a bath!! This Clarinet hasn't been cleaned for a while...
