My somewhat bizarre solution for a 50 cm deep fast draining pot. Desert peas have pretty delicate roots hence the careful bottom snipping (can see that tap root already!) and leaving in the bio seed pot. Let's see where this takes them! They're in a native mix with added sand and perlite for drainage.

I have a baby desert pea! Now let's see if I can keep it alive! In tasmania I suspect they'll only grow in pots, though ...
