I have over the last 6 months been acquiring professional guitar repairing tools and have been putting together quite a large catalogue of bodies , necks , pickups and other parts . I have enjoyed immensely learning about the processes of setups and repairs over the years , and am looking forward into the future of making my own guitars from scratch . At my workshop located in Devonport named " Quoiba Guitars " , yes for those that know the North west region is a little confusing , but the name has sort of stuck , I have been putting guitars together , with what I think , have a noticeable difference in style , flair and their own sense of individuality . These guitars will hopefully be the foundation of my own line of guitars in the future . I have a few of these guitars at the workshop for you to try out . If you need to just ask a question on what type of guitar / bass , amplifiers , pedals , you may want to buy , if your a learner or avid player the same , or just have that guitar / bass sitting at home collecting dust that just need a bit of love and attention , or breath a bit of life back into your instrument , to get you back playing again , hit me up or pop into the workshop for a chat . Sometimes buying a guitar for your children can be confusing too , "what should I buy ? , what's good ? " these are questions I always get asked . Hopefully I can help with these sorts of questions . Maybe you have a desire to design your own guitar but do not have the knowhow on how to go about it , I can help . Nothing is out of the realms of possibilities . Its all up to your imagination really . Need to upgrade those muddy pickups or , want to change the tuning ( say from E to B ) on a particular guitar or simply change your tuning pegs out for locking tuners ? By no way do I declare myself a " Luthier " as that is another level completely , and if I am not qualified for the job , with my contacts, I will gladly put you in contact with someone who can help with more technical expertise . Let me help you get back to making great music again , or starting your musical journey .

Ok ..here is an example of expecting a guitar straight out of the shop to be spot on and play like a dream . No they don't. Not even expensive guitars , they are all the same. Customer had troubles with tuning etc . Easy fix . A bloody good setup is the answer .
Bridge place in the correct position and nut cut properly.
Ditch the factory strings and a good ol pat n rub and she's good as gold . Now this is an entry level guitar but now it's a nice feeling and sounding guitar .

This item is a vintage Hofner Super Solid III model 173 electric guitar, likely manufactured in Germany between 1962 and 1963.
Body and Finish: The guitar features a solid body with a distinctive red lacquer finish.
Neck and Fretboard: It has a 25.5-inch scale maple neck with a rosewood fretboard featuring unique stripe fret markers.
Pickups and Electronics: Equipped with three original "Super" labeled pickups and specialized electronics for controlling volume and tone.
Hardware: It features a black beveled headstock with the Hofner logo and pearloid butterfly tuning keys.

Hey, some good news !!!
Received a phone call from CMC Music , and after some discussions I am now a registered supplier of Ernie Ball strings as well as other music supplies . Hopefully this will bring the price down of my premium selection of guitar strings .
I will also continue to stock budget friendly guitar stings as well .
For my servicing , I will still be using Daddario for the time being unless someone specifically asks for anything else .
Onwards and upwards they say !
