This Saturday, we’d love to welcome everyone to come and taste and compare award winning raw honey from different suburbs.

Every honey has its own story. 🌸🐝

After you taste them, feel free to listen to what your own mind whispers to you. Which one do you like? Which flavour stays with you?

We can almost guarantee that every single honey will tell you a different story about the flowers our bees have been foraging on.

Behind every jar is a lot of hard work — from our bees doing their job, to us beekeepers doing our best to produce a high-quality product while following all the necessary rules and regulations.

It’s not that hard… but it’s definitely not as easy as it looks! 😄🐝

And one thing we want to say honestly:

If you don’t like our honey or you don’t feel the quality is worth the price, you don’t have to buy it.

We respect your hard-earned money. ❤️

And if you love our honey but it’s outside your budget, we understand that too. Everyone has a different budget and different priorities.

We just hope that when comparing honey, we look at more than just the price. Quality, purity, flavour, where the honey comes from, how it is produced, and the work behind every jar all matter too.

We’re not here to force anyone to buy our honey. We’re simply giving everyone not only one honey option, many options to choose from — the choice is always yours.

All we ask is that our work and our pricing are treated with the same respect we give to our customers. 🐝❤️

With grateful hearts, we’re so excited to share our 2026 Gold Coast Show Apiculture results. This year, our bees and our family’s hard work brought home 11 awards! We couldn’t be more grateful.

Every jar, every frame, and every block of beeswax represents countless flights by our hardworking bees and the care we pour into our beekeeping. We're incredibly proud that their hard work—and ours—has been recognised once again.

None of this would have been possible without:

🐝🐝✨ Something BIG is coming! ✨🐝

Our beekeeping journey has given us many challenges, beautiful moments and plenty of reasons to keep buzzing… but recently, we experienced a very special and proud moment that we simply can’t keep quiet about! 🥹🍯🏆

This is such a busy time for us in the apiary. Our days are filled with bees, honey, hive work and everything that comes with beekeeping. By the end of the day, we’re completely exhausted! Then comes work, family and all the little things that life brings. ❤️

So even though we received the wonderful news a week ago, we simply haven’t had the time and energy to sit down and properly celebrate it with you.

But now… we’re ready! 🎉

There’s a very proud moment in our beekeeping journey that we’re about to reveal — and it means more to us than you might think. 🥹🐝🍯

🐝🍯 A little quiet… but a lot has been happening behind the scenes. ❤️

We know we’ve been a little quiet lately, but please don’t think we’ve disappeared. 😊 We’ve simply been busy doing what we love most — looking after our bees and working hard to build our little beekeeping journey back up.

This is a very busy and important time of year for us. We’ve been splitting colonies, making NUCs and preparing new hives so we can recover from the losses we’ve had and continue moving forward. It has been hard work, but we’re taking it one hive at a time. 🐝

And lately, we’ve started to see something that makes our hearts so happy. ❤️

Our hives are strong again. They are full of bees, full of activity and full of that beautiful, unmistakable buzz. 🐝🐝🐝

For us, that sound means so much more than just busy bees. It means hope. It means all those early mornings, long days, lifting boxes, checking frames, moving hives and worrying about our colonies have not been for nothing.

Our work at Willow Vale, Upper Coomera and Cleveland is now done, and tomorrow we’ll be heading to our Tamborine Mountain apiary to continue the work.

And when we open a hive and see it thriving, it gives us a feeling that is hard to put into words. After everything we’ve been through, seeing our bees coming back stronger makes us incredibly proud. 🥹❤️

We still have a long way to go, but for the first time in a while, we can look at our apiaries and feel that things are moving in the right direction.

The bees are happy. The hives are strong. And our little dream is buzzing again. 🐝🍯

We also want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us — whether you’ve bought a jar of our honey, visited us at a market, shared our posts, recommended us to a friend, encouraged us, or simply followed our journey.

Every little bit of support has helped us keep going. ❤️

Behind every jar of Golden Goodness Honey is a lot of work, a lot of hope, and a family who genuinely cares about their bees.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for everyone walking alongside us, and excited for what’s ahead.

🐝🍯 A Very Special Milestone for Golden Goodness — Ekka 2026 🏆

We honestly don't know how to put this feeling into words. ❤️

Golden Goodness has won FOUR placings at Ekka 2026 — in the 150th anniversary year of the Royal Queensland Show! 🏆🥈🥉🥉

For a small family honey business like ours, this is a huge achievement and an incredibly proud moment.

Our results were:

🥈 2nd Place — Liquid Honey, Standard Colour Light Amber
🥉 3rd Place — Liquid Honey, Standard Colour Light Amber
🥉 3rd Place — Liquid Honey, Standard Colour Golden
🏅 4th Place — Yellow Beeswax

I still remember the moment I first checked the results online.
I looked at the list, and then I saw “Golden Goodness.”

For a few seconds, I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. I checked it again… and again… and again.

“Is this real?” I kept asking myself.
“Is that really our business name?”

It was one of those rare moments in life when you just sit there completely overwhelmed — excited, emotional, proud and almost speechless. 🥹❤️

After all the hard work, all the learning, all the doubts and all the little steps we've taken since we started… there it was — Golden Goodness on the Ekka winners' list.

I don't think I will ever forget that moment.

Sometimes you work so hard for something that, when it finally happens, you need a little time to believe that it's actually real. 🐝🍯🏆

But these achievements don't belong to us alone.

First, we want to thank our wonderful mentors. ❤️
When we started our beekeeping journey, we had so much to learn. They generously shared their knowledge, guided us, corrected us, encouraged us and taught us how to understand and care for our bees. So much of what we are today has come from their guidance. We are truly grateful.

And then, our beautiful customers. 💛

We genuinely believe these achievements belong to you too.

Every jar you have bought, every kind word, every recommendation, every returning customer, every encouraging message and every time you chose to support our little business — you have been part of this journey.

Without your support, we wouldn't be here celebrating this moment.

And then, of course, there are the real winners… our bees. 🐝❤️

We can look after them, manage the hives and carefully prepare their honey and beeswax, but at the end of the day, they are the ones who created the magic.

They worked tirelessly, flower by flower, bringing us the beautiful honey and beeswax that made it onto the Ekka judging table.

Our bees won. 🐝🏆

For us, this achievement is about so much more than four ribbons.

It represents all the early mornings, long days, learning, mistakes, hard work, patience and love that have gone into building our business from the beginning.

We are still a small business, doing things on a small scale and putting our heart into every jar. So to see Golden Goodness among the winners at Ekka during its 150th anniversary feels almost unbelievable.

We are thrilled, humbled, proud and incredibly grateful. 🥹❤️

From our little hives to the 150th Ekka… what a journey, and what a memory to treasure forever.
