We have yet more William IV coinage!

These penny's can be hard to come across as there were just around 1.3 million minted over the seven years that William was King. These have a lower mintage than a lot of the higher denominations such as sovereigns and crowns.

William IV only reigned for 7 years making his coinage hard to come across sometimes.

These lovely silver half crowns had lower mintage than most of the other coins available at the time.

This 1834 issue is also one of the lower mintage years

The 'Rocking Horse' crown, minted in 1935 for the silver jubilee of George V.

This crown was the Royal Mints first commerative crown and contained a 'modernised' and very stylised version of St George slaying the dragon and as such became know as the rocking horse crown.
