It is with such great sadness that the very special Nanny Jan of Alexandra has passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday the 13th September 2025.

I would love to thank the communities of Alexandra and Eildon for embracing my Mums love of crafts & haberdashery.
She had such knowledge and loved sharing her special skills, but mostly she loved chatting to everyone, and meeting new people. She’d made so many wonderful friends after moving to the area 10 years ago.
May I say a very special thankyou to the Alexandra Hospital, the nurses, doctors and staff, who were amazing and can I truly say from my the bottom of my heart, Nanny Jan was so happy to be in the care of all the lovely medical staff.
