Named after the Wiradjuri word billabong—a quiet waterhole left behind when a river changes course—this brush carries a sense of stillness, reflection, and connection to Country. In Aboriginal culture, billabongs are places of life and gathering, where stories, water, and time slow down together.

This piece is entirely handcrafted, shaped with intention to sit naturally in your hand. The handle flows in a simple, gentle curve—uncomplicated, but deeply considered.

At its base rests a wild yellow paper daisy, picked along the shoreline and preserved in clear resin—an echo of the Australian coast, held in time. Above it, a translucent blue resin swirls with a subtle metallic shimmer, like sunlight dancing across calm water. The crown finishes in a clean, crisp white, grounding the piece in contrast and balance.

Turn it over, and you’ll find a small detail waiting—your FUKO coin, stamped and set beneath, a quiet signature of craftsmanship.

The Malu

“Malu” is an Aboriginal word used in parts of Australia to describe the raw force of nature — storm, thunder, lightning. It speaks to those moments when the sky turns, the wind rises, and everything shifts. Beautiful, powerful… and unstoppable.

This brush tells that story.

Handcrafted from brown mallee burl, the base anchors the piece in the earth — solid, grounded. Rising from it, a yellow paper daisy leans off balance, caught in the invisible force of a storm. At its centre, a vivid purple globe amaranth holds on, delicate yet defiant. The entire scene is suspended in clear resin with a warm golden tint, like light breaking through chaos.

The contrast is intentional.

Nature can be calm, but it can also be relentless. Even the most fragile things aren’t always safe — yet there’s beauty in that tension, in that moment of resistance.

The Wajali

Entirely handcrafted from start to finish, the Wajali is a one-of-a-kind piece shaped by the ocean and preserved in resin.

“Wajali” comes from the Mandubarra (Mamu) language, meaning sea or salt water — a name that reflects both its origin and spirit.

At the centre of the handle stands a naturally found seashell, collected on a walk along Emerald Beach. Tall and elegant, its white surface is traced with fine brown stripes, rising upright within the form. Resting within the mouth of the shell is a single white globe amaranth flower — a quiet meeting of land and sea, carefully set by hand and captured forever.

Each brush is individually composed and cast, with no moulds or mass production. The clear resin, layered with subtle green hues, evokes shallow coastal waters — shifting with light, depth, and movement. No two pieces can ever be the same.
The form is simple and balanced, designed to feel natural and comfortable in the hand during daily use — where function meets ritual.

This is not just a shaving brush. It is a small piece of the Australian coastline, shaped by hand, and made to last.

Meet the Mäbuga — a name drawn from Aboriginal language, meaning dream. This brush is a quiet nod to the deep, enduring connection between land, culture, and story. Like a dream, it feels both grounded and otherworldly at once — rooted in native Australian materials yet carrying a sense of movement and light. The Mäbuga isn’t just something you use; it’s something you experience, a small daily ritual that connects you to something far older than the morning rush.

At its base, rich brown mallee burl brings warmth, character, and unmistakable Australian soul. Rising above it, clear resin swirls with subtle hints of blue, like sky caught in motion. Look closer and you’ll see the burl’s crown shimmering through — hand-painted in gold to catch the light and reveal every ridge and contour. Suspended in this moment is a bold, deep purple globe amaranth, floating as if time itself decided to slow down just for you. It’s striking, a little hypnotic… and yes, it knows it.

And here’s the part that makes it truly special — there’s no factory, no shortcuts, no assembly line magic. Just me, working by hand in Emerald Beach, Australia. I grew the flower, picked it at its peak, and carefully dried it. The wood is native, chosen for its natural beauty. I poured the resin, shaped the handle, and refined it into something simple, balanced, and quietly confident. It sits naturally in your hand, letting the materials — and that stunning flower — do all the talking. Because sometimes, less really is more.

The Gulumada

Named after Gulumada — the traditional Aboriginal name for the Blue Mountains — this brush carries more than lather. It carries landscape. Story. Spirit.

The Blue Mountains earned their name from the blue haze that floats above them in summer — when eucalyptus trees release fine oils into the air, casting a soft blue veil across the valleys. From a distance, the mountains glow.

So does this brush.

At its foundation sits rich Red Mallee Burl, a native Australian timber bursting with wild character. Every bump and ripple tells a story of growth, resilience, and raw natural beauty. The crown of the burl is kissed in gold — like sunlight catching the rugged sandstone cliffs at dusk.

Rising above it: a light blue resin sky.
Clear. Bright. Alive.

Suspended within are four Globe Amaranth flowers — three pink, one purple — hand-picked, dried, and carefully placed by me. Not machine selected. Not factory pressed. Chosen. Preserved. Honoured.

Every part of this handle was shaped by hand:

I gathered each flower.

I dried them patiently.

I coloured the epoxy.

I poured the resin.

I turned the handle on my lathe.

I shaped the knot seat.

I polished it to a crystal-clear shine.

No shortcuts. No outsourcing. Just hands, tools, and intention.

The handle flows with flawless, gentle curves — organic and effortless. Fully polished to a glass-like clarity, yet finished with a matte crown where the knot sits, giving it contrast, grip, and quiet confidence.

It feels grounded in the earth.
It shines like mountain air.
It lathers like it means it.
