DJ, today has been a great day. Extending the travelling to 25kms means more customers can send an order, we sort a time that suits both of us and it’s ready for them when they swing by to pick it up. At the moment you need to ring or text to let me know what time you will be calling in. Shouldn’t be long and the sewing circles will be back on. Tonight l have been working on my hand quilting. It’s not perfect but l am pleased with my progress. Stitches are getting smaller, l guess l should have tried to get the the same size. Doesn’t worry me, you can check to see the improvement as l work my through it. The blocks are all together, they seem to be sitting flat, that’s a good thing me thinks. By the time l get the other 37 done there should be a huge improvement. Just letting you know that l gave an eye appointment tomorrow at 9.00am. I am the first appointment. If the red car is parked here , then l am in the shop. You are welcome to wait in the carport if you get here before l get hone. Don’t know if you were watching my FB page last night. Had a lady asking after a book, so put it out to my FB page. I reckon it took less than a few minutes. The ladies swapped names and and the book should be on its way shortly. Another reader must have seen the response to the call out. She saw what happened and asked if l would ask if anyone had another book she’d been trying to chase up and if they were willing to part with it. In less than 5 minutes, job done, so that’s 2 lovely ladies who have books they wanted making their way to new homes. What a great team we are! My plans tomorrow. First job on the list is processing the Blocks of the Month. Then l am going to add a couple of things to the website. Will also update the info at the beginning of the website, things have changed a little since yesterday. J l am not promising any thing, but aiming at getting 5 blocks quilted tomorrow night.
