Big thanks to everyone who participated in our multiplayer 40k game yesterday! It was an awesome event thanks to everyone being a great sport.

Shambling hordes of plague marines advanced on the enemy lines, backed up by the eldritch firepower of both the Necrons and Tau and a pugnacious mob of Ork Boyz. Things were looking grim for the stoic defenders of Hive Infernus, as Imperial Fists and Adeptus Mechanicus fired on the attacking forces. In blurting binharic entreaty to the Omnissiah, a lone Admech Ironstrider fired his Lascannon, piercing the reactor of a foetid bloat-drone. The foul engine swiftly detonated amidst the enemy lines in a battle-defining overwatch. Plague marines had reached one of the Hiveā€™s two water supplies, into which they poured Nurgleā€™s blessings, poisoning the brave imperial defenders. The defenders, spurred on by the miraculous appearance of a new Emperors Champion, sallied forth and met the attackers with bolter fire and chainsword. With the Emperor on their side, the forces of the Imperium managed to secure both communication relays. Calling in deadly strikes from orbit, a brave squad of Pteraxi broke the besieging lines amidst the chaos. Hive Infernus successfully survived the siege in a win for the defenders!

Our industrious little community managed to get a whopping 1331 models painted, smashing the store's goal of 500.
