We have 2 tickets to Walk on the Wildside this Saturday from 10-3 at East Coast Wildflowers, Mangrove Mountain. Enjoy a catered morning tea and lunch and a behind the scenes tour of the amazing flower farm. To enter: tell us your favourite native flowering plant in comments below and tag a friend. Today I had the good fortune to visit this beautiful and serene native garden created by one of the nursery’s long time customers. It’s in Forresters Beach, all planted in very sandy soil. Just stunning.

Interesting new arrival…Banksia plagiocarpa Hinchinbrook Banksia. It makes a striking feature plant with blue/grey flower buds and lush red new growth. Excellent for cut flowers! 2-3m, sunny spot, well drained, hardy.
