These gorgeous chairs have been through quite the transformation!
The incredibly talented Nikki from Hello Again Renewed Furnishings and our client dreamed up the possibility of swapping out the brown vinyl for this on trend rattan and neutral combo and after a test run, the project was handed to me.🙏
The life of these solid chairs has been wisely extended for many more years.

I am in love with the result 🤩 they were challenging but so worth the effort, don't you agree?!

This was one of the very first chairs I reupholstered and believe me I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew!

I almost quit, I almost cried. The learning curve was actually a cliff face. The tools and materials are expensive and hard to source, the skills are difficult.

I have this unshakeable belief that I truly can do anything.... until I'm halfway through and the self doubt kicks in. It's a real battle that I'm sure most people face.

The ability to push through, to keep on researching, keep on practising and allowing mistakes. Undoing and redoing, walking away but keep coming back, till it's just right and something to be truly proud of - that's where the magic is.
That's where confidence and joy are found.

I just love this old chair, so does my family and so does the cat. Who needs more approval than that of a cat?

I was privileged today to see it paired with the most divine green velvet couch, in the cutest sitting nook ever. My heart is singing!

Thankyou to everyone who I met at the hugely successful Thred Up event, I'm looking forward to bringing more tired chairs back to life 🤩

This cute little cushion matches the Balloon Back chair we have finished for Thred Up next weekend. 🪑
I dearly hope they find a new home with someone who will enjoy running thier hands over the super soft fabric like I do💛🧡💚
