Hi lovely people, just popping on to share where the last of our clothing donations went, all the stuff not suitable to pass on.
Rather then straight to landfill it was repurchased for a great project.
I'll also share an update about the last bit of $$ and how useful it was soon ❤️

We've given away all of the good quality donations to flood impacted communities
We've raised over $5000 to help flood-impacted families get back home.
We created a safe place to share stories and helped each other in so many ways.
Our pop-up shop is closed BUT we have one more ASK.
We have 8 cubic metres of poor quality clothing that cannot be given away. We don't want to send the clothing to our landfill.
We have a recycling solution but we need help transporting the load to a social enterprise in Melbourne.

Awesome! If you've shopped in our pop up shop and made a donation, you can be assured you've made a difference ❤️ we've bought bras and un**es, firewood and heaters, storage tubs, cutlery, tea towels, given some children a gift of creatibity and so much more. Well done you! 👏
Although Tommy hasn't asked for payment we felt it was important to take care of those who take care of us.

One of the main goals of the Pop Up Shop is to reduce the amount of textiles that end up in landfill. Unfortunately, it's a huge problem after a natural disaster.
