Happy Book Week Turtle readers! This year's theme for the National Children's Book Week is 'Symphony of Stories'.
We had a long think and realised that a symphony is made of many different instruments coming together and creating something magical. So in light of this we thought what better way to show off our symphony than to get our volunteers/musicians 😉 to put together the ultimate reading list suggestions made from their favourite books!
Come down and check them out in person Friday, Sunday and Monday.

We have received some beautiful book sets including the works of Somerset Maugham, DH Lawrence and Charles Dickens. They would enhance any bookshelf. Call in on Monday, Friday or Sunday to make them yours!

This week Turtle Books is getting really into historical fiction! So if you are looking for a cosy romance, an ancient retelling or an old timey Who Done It, come down and visit us on Sunday, Monday and Fridays, and adopt a new read! 🐢📚

Two local book clubs are coming to visit us for their next meeting and it is our pleasure to provide a space for their enjoyment of books. For those not able to be in a book club we can highly recommend the podcast The Book Club. It’s a great way to spend your commuting time - catching up on the story behind so many wonderful books. Oh and we are open today 10-2! Come in and talk about books.
