It is with great sadness that we share that Figtree Grove Shopping Centre has decided not to renew our lease, meaning Hobbysew Figtree will be closing in its current location at the end of August.
For over two decades, we've had the privilege of being part of so many sewing, quilting and crafting journeys. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or only recently discovered our store, thank you for your support, your friendship, and for allowing us to share our passion with you. We truly couldn't have done it without our wonderful Hobbysew Figtree community.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we are hopeful that Hobbysew will continue to have a presence in the Illawarra in a different capacity, and we'll be sure to keep everyone updated as we know more.
For anyone with a lay-by or a quilt currently being quilted, please don't worry. Your projects are in safe hands, and we will continue quilting all quilts entrusted to us.
To our amazing students, thank you for learning, creating and laughing with us over the years. We will be in touch over the coming weeks to discuss our remaining class schedule and the conclusion of this term.
In the meantime, we'd love to see you in store. Our Christmas in July event begins this Thursday, with 20% off all fabrics in store, and over the coming weeks we'll also be announcing some fantastic clearance specials.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Hobbysew Figtree so much more than just a shop. You've helped create a community, and we'll always be grateful to have shared this journey with you.
