Introducing The Raconteur’s ‘Where Love Lives” collection ♥️

An emotionally driven addition to the brand. Exploring the different states that love can exist - secrecy, rebellion, resilience, adventure, listening to your heart, or perhaps, the universe. Where Love Lives is a cinematic trio that strives to feel emotionally intelligent, devastatingly human and atmospheric rather than classically romantic.

As always, The Raconteur has their unique Australian perspective throughout the collection. Historical references help to shape each fragrance through ingredients, mood and characteristics.

Salt Rose Mutiny is inspired by a Tasmanian windswept coastal rose, it is a scent of rebellion and independence. Inspired by Charlotte Badger, an icon, Australia’s first female pirate.

Buckley’s Chance is an ode to the harsh Australian elements featuring sandalwood spicatum, one of Australia’s most remarkable native botanicals. Inspired by William Buckley, a fragrance of survival through connection.

Moonlite’s Dance is an ode to hidden love and, as such, uses ingredients that are hidden in the ground or concealed within bark. “I flow with passion and joy”

Introducing Tulita’s newest fragrance launch…K**a 🧡

K**a opens with a luminous opening of citrus and pink pepper seed; dewy and fresh, yet also soft and skin-like - think freshly cleaned skin, post-shower, expensive, subtly-scented body moisturiser applied all over. Soon the summery and creamy notes of coconut, musk and ylang ylang come alive and blend effortlessly with the clean opening. While no note overpowers the others, the overall feel is creamy, musky, your-skin-but-better. As K**a develops even further, the saltiness builds and adds an unexpected (but highly welcome) addition to this skin scent. The salty scent creates dimension and sparkle to this gorgeous second skin of fragrance. This fragrance is too hot to handle. The ecstasy of sinking your teeth into the first peach of the season….bliss! So Imaginary Authors translated it into perfume form to create an unabashedly sexy story you will not be able to put down. Think of it as Fifty Shades of Peach. 🍑

First Peach of the Season evokes that feeling when your teeth pierce the skin of a sun-ripened peach. The burst of juice as the soft flesh gives way to a succulent, sensuous sweetness; sharpened by a tart bite...a sour note that makes you salivate and keep going back for more. Juxtaposing luscious peach nectar and acute citrus, the sweetness of a first love is spiked against reality. Fluffy chantilly cream resting upon a roasted peach. The story of Monkeyflower…

The Musk Monkeyflower (so renowned for its vibrant scent that it was simply referred to as The Common Musk) was imported to Europe from the American west coast, where the sun-yellow flowers, perched on fuzzy, sticky stalks, can be found in meadows or along old dirt roads.

The Monkeyflower was a smash hit in Victorian England, thanks to its rich musk smell. Over nearly a century, it spread from the botanical aristocracy to London street hawkers and countryside cottage windows. But at the turn of the twentieth century, the flower suddenly lost its scent – not just in domesticated plants, but in wild specimens as well.

Botanists in North America reported that the uncultivated flowers had also lost their fragrance. This puzzling mystery was the hottest topic among biology conspiracy theorists for decades, but no explanation was ever found. Eventually, the subject faded into obscurity, along with the flower’s popularity as a houseplant. By then, the flowers had spread into the wild and can sometimes still be found living a quiet life in parts of Europe and New Zealand – perhaps just biding their time before returning to the olfactory stage.

Now, since we’re talking about the fragrance from Stora Skuggan, Monkeyflower begins with the scent of a green fig – accented by the tang of goldenberry and an almost coconutty sunscreen accord. As it begins to dry down, you’re met with the sweeter yet aromatic (almost vegetal) florals of chamomile, buttercup and Tussilago. Here’s where Monkeyflower begins to get really interesting… As it continues to wear, the musk and hay begin to come out, creating this fluffy, golden, buttery, musky creaminess that feels borderline animalic, but not in a dirty way, more in a warm skin way. Monkeyflower lasts for hours on the skin and is one of those scents that kind of comes and goes – just when you think it’s gone you get a delicious waft of it like a ray of sunshine coming from out behind a cloud. ⛅️
