Found this at my parents place these school holidays. A 2008 SCB catalogue where our 10 book collections were $40.

Today our packs are $30-$35, less than $4 per book.

Everything feels expensive right now. We’ve tried to make sure children’s books aren’t.

We can’t believe term 1 is nearly over! Here are two of our favourite book collections for navigating conversations with children in the early years. A great resource to add to the shelf ready for term 2.
Both collections, by Australian authors, are age-appropriate for 4-7years and address topics such as gratitude, resilience, kindness, body safety, confidence and more!

The first five years are everything when it comes to brain development. And something as simple as reading aloud every day makes a real difference. Children read to daily hear up to 290,000 more words before they start school than those who aren’t. 📚

For over 30 years it’s been a story that parents, carers and educators have shared with children, and it’s not hard to understand why. The beautiful Australian imagery, the rhythm of the words and illustrations that bring it to life really are special. And children love it.

These are the Australia Post timeframes for metro areas, and we recommend ordering a little earlier if you can to avoid unexpected delays.

Our warehouse will be closed on public holidays and running with reduced staff over the holiday period so please allow a little extra time over this period.
