I had a lovely morning with a small home school group today.
This was Week 1 of a 10 week program where we will gradually build up woodworking skills and create more challenging projects.
A sustainable education element is part of the program and today we chatted about trees which are almost magic in what they provide us. I was thrilled to hear the children saying how much they love trees and wood by the end of the workshop! 🥰🥰

A few snaps from one of my workshops with a lovely homeschool group! These kids were very engaged with our sustainability chat which was heart warming to see. They loved the chance to use real tools and put their creativity to use.
We learnt lots of woodworking skills and I was glad to put my endless amount of loom bands to use! 😅

This is how I use my worm compost! 🪱This stuff is like magic, it will significantly improve any plant who is struggling! I’ve had this worm farm about 6 months, it’s very easy to maintain, I only feed and water them once a week give or take depending on the weather.

Using some old timber picked up from the side of the road I created an acceptable toilet area for my two cats 🐈‍⬛
I’ve never lived anywhere on my own with much storage (I’m sure I’m not the only one) so I’m a bit addicted to making better use of the limited space in my house! Figuring out how to work with what you have will save you a lot of time, money and the planet will thank you 🌎

The journey of this native raspberry was closely watched and highly anticipated 😂 my reaction at the end was a tad honest as I was expecting it to be a bit sweeter but it was still good 👍
Thanks to for the very fast growing and happy raspberry plant! I planted it less than a year ago and it’s already fruiting!
