Just about to start Day 3 of my trip at the Melbourne Gift Fairs, back to hopefully finish looking through the 470 suppliers at Gift Fair number 2.

Day 1- quick tram ride and walk to beautiful Royal Exhibition building for Gift Fair number 1, looked through about 150 suppliers.

Day 2 - walk up to Gift Fair number 2 at Melbourne Convention Centre, then trip to MCG to watch Dockers play an awesome game then back to Gift Fair.

So many great items seen so far, can't fit them all in the shop thou. Lol

The difference a Lotterywest Grant can make.

The Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury is a community organisation committed to protecting the Southwest’s marine environment, with a special focus on the local Bottlenose Dolphins.

Through a $67,510 Lotterywest grant, they will now be able to expand and diversify their conservation projects - helping strengthen rescue efforts, enhance habitat restoration, and empower the Centre to continue protecting our oceans for future generations.

The grant enabled the Centre to purchase new quality cameras which are used out on the water, allowing the team to document the 180- 200 dolphins in the area and support ongoing photo‑identification research, which is essential for understanding dolphin wellbeing and behaviour.

We are delighted to celebrate our 9th birthday this month. A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible customers, some of whom have been loyal to us since our early days and others who have more recently become part of our Edinburgh Road Newsagency family.

Congratulations to a wonderful customer who started playing a system 9 Powerball some weeks ago. Persistence paid off as she won $1541 last Thursday.

For Powerball, a System 9 means you pick 9 main numbers instead of 7 (plus one Powerball).
