This August, we’re honoured to welcome Sufiyan Khatri, master Ajrakh artisan from Kutch, India, to The Anjelms Project in Fremantle.
Join us for a rare series of immersive workshops exploring one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated textile traditions.
Through storytelling, documentary screenings, hands-on block printing, and natural indigo dyeing, you’ll learn directly from a practitioner whose family has preserved the art of Ajrakh for generations.
Whether you’re a textile artist, designer, maker, or simply curious about traditional craft, this is an opportunity to experience the richness of Ajrakh through culture, conversation, and making.
