Threw my last boomerang in the shop today. It came back but I won’t be! I have sold the business on to pursue a lifelong dream of travelling and working overseas. The shop will still be here under different ownership so if you’re interested in throwing, show the new owners some love and come down to the Fremantle Markets!

Thank you to everyone who bought a boomerang and supported the stall. I am very grateful to have had the privilege of running such a historical enterprise and enjoyed every second.

We are proud to announce our first boomerang competition of 2023!

The inaugural boomerang film contest offers you the opportunity
to show off your boomerang throwing skills for the chance to win a cash prize!

To enter, submit a video of yourself throwing/catching a boomerang from our collection to the Fremantle Boomerang Academy page

Throws will be judged on - technique, accuracy, range and catch.

Bonus points will be added for trick catches such as
- behind the back, between the legs and with the non dominant hand.

The competition will expire and the winner will be announced on March 5th
