Summer sewing season is here, and we’ve got just the fabric for it! 👗

Viscose is a type of rayon, and the terms viscose and rayon are often used interchangeably when describing this beautifully fluid fabric. So, if you know and love rayon, you’ll feel right at home with our woven viscose.

It’s a versatile choice for everything from flowing blouses and tops to skirts, maxi dresses, lightweight trousers, scarves, and more.

✨ Holiday Closure 21st -25th Sept

It’s school holiday time here in QLD, and we’ll be taking a short break next week with the Wattle Hill kids.

📦 Last postage day before our break: this Friday 18th Sept ⏰️

⏰ Please place your fabric orders by 5pm this Friday 18th Sept to ensure they’re sent before our holiday closure.

🌐 The website will remain open during the break, and you’re welcome to order as normal. We’ll still be around in the background if you have any enquiries.

☀️ New Arrivals in Cotton Double Gauze

Cotton double gauze is always a favourite for us as we head into the warmer months, and it’s easy to see why.

Soft, lightweight and beautifully breathable, it’s one of those fabrics that just feels made for summer sewing.

Our latest collection features some beautiul Gingham Check patterns that are woven from 100% cotton, with two fine layers of gauze invisibly stitched together.

This gives the fabric its lovely airy feel and that soft, slightly crinkled texture that makes double gauze so comfortable to wear - and wonderfully relaxed-looking too.

What would we make? 👗

Double gauze really shines in relaxed styles where its natural texture and softness can do their thing.

Think floaty summer dresses, loose shirts and blouses, easy tops, pull-on shorts and pants, gathered skirts and breezy throw-on dresses.
