Had a little helper (well he's getting taller than John now 🤣) in yesterday to get swags rolled and ready to send....Grandson Max is starting to learn a few more tricks of the trade and getting good at rolling swags with Pop!

This Antelope Brown Stockmans Swag is heading down to Mark in Moora who was the lucky and pretty excited winner of our Father's Day Giveaway....apparently he's already booked some time off work to go camping in it 👍🏻😊

We've posted a beautiful Waverley Mills Tasman Tartan Camp Blanket off to Linda in NSW as well...

And talking about these pure Merino Wool blankets, we also posted one off yesterday to Pete in the USA 🇺🇸

This very special review popped into my email a while back, and I nearly missed it amongst all the other ones, but so glad I didn’t as it just makes us so proud that after all these years, 22 in fact, that David took the time to tell us that his swag is still going, still getting used and by the sounds of it I reckon he loves it!

It just made my heart sing a little bit and I thought I would share it before I forgot.

We’ve just received this lovely 5-star review from Tom after purchasing one of our King Brown Swags:

Well Tom… you’ve pretty much summed up what we’ve been trying to achieve for over 40 years! ❤️

We don’t make disposable camping gear. We make traditional, old-school Aussie swags — the kind you buy once, take on a lifetime of adventures, and hopefully one day hand down to the next generation.

We’re already seeing plenty of our swags doing exactly that, with some made by us 20, 30 and even 40 years ago still out there being used today.

A while back Zed sent us a little video after spending the night in his King Brown swag in wet weather....

"In the Southern Highlands area in Belanglo State Forest. No water at all (in his swag) and the awning was dumping water on the swag as well as the rain hitting it. My awning is only 2.1 metres to provide a little shade.

After a hard but successful week it was time to hit the cans with Aaron Miller, enjoy a fire and rainy camp at Belanglo State Forest. Check the puddle of water on my Murchison River Swags King Brown swag that kept me bone dry all night. The doggo loved it and we saw at least 8 deer running across the road. Dropped into the memorial for the poor people that got murdered there but that’s all in the past. Marked a few potential camp sites for next time".

Happy Father's Day to this awesome husband, dad and pop John 🥰. I was looking for a photo of John to share with this post but from the over 7000 plus photos 🤣🤣 this one sums him up best! Loving husband for 44 years, awesome dad to our 3 kids and loving pop to 5 beautiful grandkids ###xx

We, feel pretty blessed to have this hardworking man in our lives who has shared his love of the outdoors with his family and built a business to be proud of with his attention to detail and always making everything to the best of his ability whether it was an antique lounge he was upholstering or a swag or bag....

Anyway, happy Father's Day to John and all the dads..

2nd PRIZE of a WAVERLEY MILLS TASMANIA TARTAN CAMP BLANKET will be heading to Linda in Jindabyne NSW.

3rd PRIZE of an OILSKIN STUBBY HOLDER, HOODIE and a TRUCKERS CAP to a local lady Janet of Geraldton.

Funny story from Janet yesterday who still has our swags they bought 20 or so years ago...

"Would have been late 90's we bought swags for the 2 boys for Christmas. When they were teenagers they were camping on the beach at Sunset with a few mates. Left to go to a party & when they returned found all their gear burnt, including the swags. So we got new ones from you under insurance. Troy & I also had one of your double swags. We've all still got them now."

So, big congratulations to our winners!
