Last week I had the pleasure of holding a large sold out coptic stitch workshop at Tinker Art School, Toowoomba and everyone really got into the creative atmosphere 🍓

We started with some information behind different bookbinding techniques, tools and materials. Covers were chosen from a range of designs, cut and glue together. We collated and folded sections for this multi-section seen book.

Lastly, we stumbled our way through bringing it all together with colourful thread and the distinct braided-style stitching.

The next Coptic Stitch Workshop at Tinker is on Saturday September 5th! Come along and get creative~

Made with op shopped (thrifted) fabrics and textiles, this collection of pocket notebooks is made with premium quality 118gsm Mohawk Superfine paper, traditional bookcloth, and handmade endsheets.

These books are made as a one-off small batch item, determined by the size of the textile used.

I always love watching it transform from an unwanted item to practical and beautiful notebooks~
