This beautiful Benedikt Lang cello has just been set up in our workshop and is ready to play now in our showroom.

Crafted in Mittenwald, Germany in 1989, Benedikt Lang cellos are popular for their warm and clear tone, distinct orange-red varnish and fine workmanship — hallmarks of the Mittenwald school, one of the world's great centres of string instrument making. This example carries a two-piece flamed maple back and the kind of depth of tone only decades of careful ageing can bring.

📣 We're hiring! Bows for Strings is looking for a passionate violin, viola, cello or double bass player to join our sales team at our Glen Waverley showroom.

If you love music and enjoy helping people find their perfect instrument, we'd love to hear from you. No previous retail experience needed, just bring your passion, a strong work ethic, and playing ability at an 8th grade level or higher.
