Just a reminder, albeit a somber one: we will be opening this Sunday for the last time, our web store will be deactivated at midnight on Sunday the 30th of June. Both Ryan and myself will be in store on Sunday if any of you would like to come in for one last visit.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our valued customers for your unwavering support throughout the years. Choosing to spend your hard-earned money at our store has been truly appreciated. Without all of you, our business wouldn't have thrived, and honestly, your presence has made the daily grind enjoyable and meaningful. Many of you have not only been customers but have become friends, sharing various aspects of your lives with us. It's felt like we've formed a close-knit family of va**ng outkasts and misfits.

We've gotta give a massive shoutout to the awesome folks who helped us kick off this wild ride! First up, the legendary Jason Cooke for hooking us up with rent-free space inside his business to launch our shop. Ryan Kurnia, the wicking wizard, Phillip Calvert, our go-to guy for fixing anything under the sun, kurnia the v**e encyclopedia, and Nathan Tranterr, our jack-of-all-trades superhero. Thanks a ton for always being there, whether it's helping source top-notch products, expanding our product knowledge, teaching everyone how to wick and build an RDA (myself included). And let's not forget your heroic efforts in moving all those heavy objects!

Big ups to La Loba for sprinkling Photoshop magic on our visuals, and Martinelli for bank rolling us when we made the leap to our own shop. We thank you all, your contributions were essential in getting Steel City off the starting line.

Honourable mention to Bursic, for keeping the ship going while Ryan an I were enjoying working a 3 day fortnight.

Hi Guys,

Just got out of a meeting regarding the new laws.

It looks like as of July 1st or Sunday night at midnight will be the last day we trade.

People who have orders in are welcome to pick up stock they have ordered but we won't be taking orders on the 1st of July.
As it stands if we sell to a customer and have 100 bottles of juice in the store we are looking at Jail time and a 1.2 million dollar fine.
I'm so sorry it has come to this i think we will be back if everyone votes for the Liberals or the Nationals. Senator Cadell from the Nationals in Newcastle absolutely has our backs and I would urge anyone from the Newcastle Electorate to vote for Senator Ross Cadell.

All we can do is put our votes to good use and make labor and the greens pay for putting profits before our health. It will be interesting to see in 6 months how people are still using disposables but kids in schools are already talking about being able to get a prescription to v**e which is a complete joke after the way we have been attacked over the last couple of years.

As of Monday, our suppliers have told us they are also shutting down their website so we will no longer be able to order in any stock for anyone chasing particular juices.

We are however going to open on Sunday both myself and Milo would love to catch up with many of you one more time. Its been a pleasure meeting and getting to know every single one of you. And if anyone does go back to smoking let your voices be heard.

Hi Guys,

Update for everyone legislation has passed and it looks like its over for now. We have heard the liberal party will take this to the election. This legislation isnt going to work the disposable ban has been in effect since Jan 1st and they are still everywhere.

You wont need a prescription to buy a v**e unless you are under 18. This pretty much turns your local pharmacy is now a v**e shop but the price of a v**e will be 15 to 20 times higher then a v**e shop. kids can now get a v**e on prescription which turns this legislation into a total farce but labor were willing to do everything they could to get a win. Otherwise, they would have looked like an incompetent government.

The media is saying we have to close on July 1st but were hearing we may have longer. We are waiting to find out and we will let everyone know.

Juice is flying out the door we are placing orders for juice that we dont have if people want it. Our main supplier maybe closing their website down July 1st and we are waiting to hear back if thats going to happen. So we may have a really small time frame to get some lines through so if you want anything please let us know and we will do what we can.

Pretty stressful time but also kind of a relief. Who knows if the libs get back into power we might be back if the framework around va**ng doesn't mean we have to charge $200 for a bottle of juice. We will keep an eye on it and hope for the best.

Thanks for all your support it's a sad day it shows how out of touch labor is. I will never vote for labor again and I hope many of you will show your position with how you vote as well.

It looks like the greens are going to vote with Labor and you will be able to get mint flavours without a prescription.

We're not sure what to do from here but going by a news article we are supposed to be shut down in a week's time so if you need anything get in asap and get what you need

Fields pharmaceutical charges $16 for 2ml that's equivalent to $800 for 100ml. I'm sure many pharmacies are rubbing their hands together right now but it's so sad it's come to this.

We just wanted to update everyone on where the shop is.

Next week our politicians will vote on whether we can stay open. The greens will have the final say but if the vote goes against us we may have to close on July 1st unless we get an extension on that date.

We won't be reordering stock because we are potentially in our last couple of weeks. Some lines have disappeared and are no longer available, but our suppliers still have plenty of stock of most juice.

If we don't have something you want in stock and you want us to get it in we can check to see if it's available and get it in.

We have 1 mod kit left, a few xros kits, and some tanks and that's the only hardware we have left.

It's getting pretty grim, if the vote goes the other way we are hoping we will be able to import stock fairly quickly and restock.

We will update you on what happens next week and let you know where we will go from there.
