I’m not sure if you have noticed but we have had a lot of rain. This means that the grass may be producing mycotoxins which can have a negative impact on your horse.
Symptoms that mycotoxins could be affecting your horse include.
•reduced appetite
•unpredictable behaviour
•diarrhoea
•serve lameness
•bleached/ rough coat
•loss of coordination
We recommend in this weather adding stance toxin binder to your horses feed to reduce the risk of mycotoxins affecting your horse.

(Please note not all these symptoms mean your horse has mycotoxins if you are unsure ALWAYS consult your vet or horse nutritionist)
